Create, audit, and distribute detailed customer invoices, contracts, change orders, and billing adjustments. Process and accurately apply incoming payments across multiple payment channels (credit cards, ACH transfers, and checks). Proactively manage aging accounts receivable, conduct professional follow-ups on past-due balances, and support polite collections efforts. Upload, verify, and organize project billing files, insurance claim paperwork, and audit documentation withinSAGE, ALBI , OCS
, and Excel spreadsheets. Prepare and submit final job reports and required carrier documentation to expedite claim payouts. Serve as the primary contact for client billing questions; communicate clearly with homeowners, project managers, insurance adjusters, and third-party partners. Reconcile daily payment deposits and bank records to maintain audit-ready ledger accuracy. Assist the Office Manager with month-end financial closing, basic accounts payable (AP) support, and general administrative tasks. Greet occasional office visitors, receive walk-in payments, and collaborate via Slack, Microsoft Teams, and email. Details forAccounts Receivable Specialist:
Pay Rate:
$25.00 - $27.00 / hour (DOE — open to a higher starting rate for candidates bringing advanced industry or software expertise).Schedule:
Monday - Friday (Company is highly flexible and open to a 4-day workweek for the right candidate!).Shift Hours:

Accounts receivable, customer billing support, reconciliation, and administrative office operations reporting to the Office Manager.Position Type:

Accounting Background:
Proven prior experience in accounts receivable, job costing, commercial billing, bookkeeping, or general accounting.Software Knowledge:
Hands-on experience with SAGE accounting software is strongly preferred; familiarity with restoration management platforms (ALBI , OCS ) or similar ERP systems is a strong PLUS.Tech Savvy:
Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel data entry and tracking), Slack, and Microsoft Teams. Exceptional communication skills, professional phone etiquette, and comfort discussing billing adjustments and payment balances with customers. High attention to numerical accuracy, ledger reconciliation, and file organization.Education & Compliance:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent; valid Driver's License with a clean, insurable driving abstract. Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and professional workplace accountability.Benefits Include:
