Job Description
```Job Summary``` We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial concepts and is proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks. ```Duties```
- Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks
- Prepare and process journal entries
- Perform general ledger reconciliation
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Process payroll and ensure accurate calculation of wages and deductions
- Prepare bank deposits and reconcile bank statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Generate various financial reports as needed ```Requirements```
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, debits, credits, and double-entry bookkeeping
- Proficient in using accounting software, particularly QuickBooks
- Familiarity with governmental accounting principles is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
