Job Description
Description We are partnering with a growing organization in Tukwila seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to provide immediate support to the accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can manage a high volume of invoices and email communication, and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and customer service. Responsibilities
+ Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
+ Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system.
+ Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.
+ Prepare, process, and distribute vendor payments and checks.
+ Monitor and respond to high-volume Accounts Payable email inquiries through Microsoft Outlook.
+ Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor payment issues.
+ Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and documentation needs.
+ Maintain organized AP records and supporting documentation.
+ Assist with month-end AP activities and account reconciliations as needed.
+ Support additional accounting and administrative projects as assigned. Requirements + 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
+ Experience processing invoices and supporting high-volume AP functions.
+ Strong Microsoft Outlook skills and ability to manage a busy email inbox.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
+ Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
