Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized bilingual Bookkeeper to join our accounting firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for multiple clients while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage deadlines, and excellent communication with clients and team members. Key Responsibilities Perform bookkeeping services for multiple business clients. Record and reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts. Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records. Prepare and process payroll, including payroll tax filings. Prepare and file quarterly payroll reports. Prepare and file annual payroll reports, including W-2s, W-3s, and 1099s, as applicable. Prepare and file Washington State Department of Revenue (DOR) excise tax returns. Prepare and file Washington State Business & Occupation (B&O) tax returns. Prepare and file other required quarterly and annual state and federal reports. Assist clients with bookkeeping questions and provide timely support. Review financial records for accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Maintain organized client files and documentation. Collaborate with accountants during tax preparation and year-end close. Ensure all filings are completed accurately and submitted by required deadlines. Stay current on bookkeeping practices, payroll regulations, and tax reporting requirements. Qualifications Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field. Knowledge of payroll processing and payroll tax reporting. Experience preparing quarterly and annual payroll reports. Familiarity with Washington State Department of Revenue (DOR) reporting and Business & Occupation (B&O) taxes. Understanding of general accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures. Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online) and Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple clients and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information. Pay:
