Job Description

Endries International is seeking an Enterprise AR & AP Specialist to support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities across the organization. This role combines hands-on accounting responsibilities with problem-solving, account reconciliation, customer and supplier support, and collaboration across multiple locations and business functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working through discrepancies and finding solutions. What You'll Do Process purchase order and non-purchase order invoices accurately and efficiently. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies involving pricing, quantities, purchase orders, receiving, and other exceptions. Respond to supplier questions regarding invoices, payments, account balances, and payment status. Review and reconcile supplier statements and research account differences. Support supplier check runs and other payment processing activities. Process and reconcile freight-related invoices and transactions. Apply customer payments accurately to customer accounts and invoices. Research and resolve customer account discrepancies and payment application issues. Respond to customer questions regarding invoices, payments, credits, balances, and account status. Support collection activities by monitoring past-due balances and following up on outstanding accounts. Assist with resolving customer account issues that may impact payment. Complete new customer account setups and maintain accurate customer information within accounting systems. Perform account reconciliations and investigate differences or unusual transactions. Maintain accurate documentation supporting accounting transactions and activities. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer, supplier, invoice, and accounting issues. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reduce errors, and increase efficiency. Provide backup and general accounting support to other members of the accounting team as needed. Maintain confidentiality of financial, customer, supplier, and company information. Travel to acquisition locations as needed to provide accounting support and assist with integration activities. What We're Looking For We're looking for an accounting professional who is detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
Qualifications include:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Two or more years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting, or related financial operations. Experience working with accounting or ERP systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to research discrepancies, identify root causes, and independently work toward solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience supporting multiple locations or entities is a plus. Why Join Endries?
