Job Description
Founded in 2011, BCP Transportation Inc. is a rapidly growing, 100% employee-owned trucking company that brings positive, hard-working people together to meet the needs of customers across the country. From our main terminal in Deerfield, Wisconsin, BCP provides local, regional, and over-the-road trucking services. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for dependable, detail-oriented people to join our team. We are currently looking for a Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, enjoys working with numbers, and takes pride in getting the details right. No prior accounting experience is required, we are willing to train the right person. What matters most to us is reliability, attention to detail, organization, and a willingness to learn. In this role, you'll help keep our accounting operations organized and running smoothly. You'll be responsible for entering and reviewing vendor invoices, processing payments, maintaining accurate vendor records, reconciling company credit card accounts, and keeping accounting records and spreadsheets organized. You'll also assist with researching invoice discrepancies, communicating with vendors when needed, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and supporting the accounting team with other administrative and accounting tasks. We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and takes their work seriously .
