Pay will be commensurate with the experience, skills, and qualifications that the candidate brings. McCON's Support Center team manages commercial construction projects across the continental US. We are a family-owned company known for our experience in commercial construction, our service to our clients, and our performance, both in the field and administratively. We are seeking a full-time Accounting Specialist to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:

General Accounting Support:
o Assist with month-end close processes by reconciling project-related AP and AR accounts. o Enter receipts and invoices into the accounting system accurately and on time. o Review receipts and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy. o Assign the correct job cost codes to expenses, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs. o Ensure costs are charged to the appropriate job, phase, and cost category. o Work with project managers and field staff to clarify coding and expense details when needed. o Help identify and correct coding errors or missing information. o Support accurate job cost tracking by ensuring all expenses are entered and coded properly. o Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements:
Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience Experience with Sage Contractor 100 Software or equivalent Integrated Accounting & Project Management Software preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Suite, with knowledge of Excel. Organized and able to manage a high volume of receipts and documentation. Construction or job costing experience is a plus but not required.
