$28.98-$30.00 per hour Make an Impact in Finance We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations for multiple facilities. This contract opportunity is ideal for an organized accounting professional who enjoys maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end activities. What You'll Do Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation for multiple operating facilities. Process and review routine accounting transactions, including invoices, payments, and account activity. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Reconcile bank, general ledger, and other balance sheet accounts and research outstanding discrepancies. Prepare and enter routine journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation. Assist with monthly financial close by reviewing account balances and ensuring transactions are recorded accurately. Maintain organized files and supporting documentation for accounting records. Assist with financial reporting and provide information for internal and external audits. Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records and follow up on outstanding items. Enter, update, and verify financial data using automated accounting systems and Microsoft Excel. Handle confidential financial and employee information appropriately. Respond to accounting questions and assist with ad hoc finance projects as needed. Work independently while collaborating with members of the Finance team to meet deadlines. What You Bring Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 2-5 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or related financial experience. Working knowledge of bookkeeping practices, general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and internal controls. Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and financial recordkeeping. Strong Microsoft Excel and Google Suite skills. Experience working with automated accounting or financial management systems. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage interruptions, and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team. Why This Opportunity?
