Job Description

We are looking for an AR Specialist to support an organization in New Berlin, Wisconsin. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing accounts receivable activities in a fast-paced environment. The role will focus on maintaining accurate financial information, applying incoming payments, and following up with customers to keep accounts current.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and ensure customer account activity is documented correctly. Apply incoming payments to the appropriate invoices and reconcile posted transactions with supporting records. Monitor outstanding balances and communicate with business clients regarding overdue accounts and payment status. Review account details regularly to identify discrepancies and help resolve billing or payment issues promptly. Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth cash application and account maintenance processes. Prepare receivable-related reports and provide updates on collection activity and account trends. Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a similar accounting support role. Working knowledge of financial recordkeeping and payment posting procedures. Experience handling business-to-business collections and customer account follow-up. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate data and documentation. Good communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and internal stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a busy office environment.
