Payroll / AP Specialist

Truity Partners is supporting a growing firm in Pewaukee, WI with their search for a Payroll / AP Specialist. This is a career position, with our client considering both temp-to-hire (preferred) and direct hire candidates for this opening. The role is 100% onsite, with a first-shift Monday through Friday schedule. Compensation is estimated at $29.00 - $33.00 per hour, with flexibility based on experience and qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Process multi-state payroll for union and non-union employees Review timecards, payroll deductions, and tax set-up for accuracy and compliance Manage invoice processing, vendor maintenance, and timely payments Resolve payroll and accounts payable discrepancies with employees and vendors Support multiple entities while balancing priorities in a fast-paced environment

REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of payroll, accounts payable, or related accounting support experience Experience with multi-state payroll processing; construction and/or union payroll exposure is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information accurately Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, changing environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including
