Accounts Payable Clerk (Contract) Linamar Corp - 3.1 Pleasant Prairie, WI Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications Accounting systems Computer operation Microsoft Outlook Computer literacy High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Desktop applications Time management Full Job Description Job Summary This role involves verifying payment details, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining detailed records of all transactions. Working closely with the finance team to support efficient accounts payable operations and provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders. Responsibility Responsible for AP mailbox and retrieve invoices from supplier websites. Input suppliers' invoices into PLEX in a timely manner - 3-way match, Data entry, Approval Signoffs. Troubleshoot invoices/credits memo's that may have any discrepancies. Work with Corporate Purchasing for vendor setup and verify all new supplier documents and banking detail. Reconcile monthly supplier statements. Assist with month end accruals and monthly tracking in specified monthly buckets for tracking purposed. Any adhoc requests to assist with finance department. Ex. (audit requests, reporting,) Academic/Educational Requirements Completion of secondary school or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Required Skills/Experience Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting/accounts payable Maintain a high level of accuracy with a focus on attention to detail Effectively interact with co-workers demonstrating good communication skills; both verbal and written Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Working knowledge of computer programs such as IFS, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to learn new software and work procedures with a willingness to expand financial knowledge Working Conditions 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in-office, production area as required.
