Job Description

Summary Pinnacle Engineering Group is searching for an Accounting Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting the accounting department by compiling, analyzing, and maintaining accurate financial records, processing financial transactions, and assisting with financial report preparation. The Accounting Coordinator manages accounts payable and accounts receivable, prepares invoices and payments, reconciles bank and credit card accounts, and provides general administrative and document management support. This role is essential to ensuring accurate financial operations, timely reporting, and efficient day-to-day office functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required. Other duties may be assigned. Work with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Process incoming payments by check, credit card, and EFT. Receive, process, and reconcile statements. Prepare monthly financial statements. Generate and review monthly reports. Prepare and make bank deposits. Assist with preparation and prepare annual benefit and 401k audits. Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures. Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, and receipts. Prepare and execute invoicing throughout the company on a monthly basis. Perform administrative and other tasks as needed. Qualifications Must possess a valid driver's license. 0-4 years of experience in accounting or finance. Ability to multi-task. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Office 365 and Excel). Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
