SEETECH, LLC
is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to oversee daily accounting functions, maintain accurate financial records, manage state and local tax filings, and support the company's overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of accounting, experience with general ledger management, and the ability to ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations. This role will be responsible for bookkeeping, financial reporting, account reconciliations, tax documentation, payroll support, and maintaining the integrity of the company's accounting records. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and all subsidiary accounts. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable. Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow reporting. Prepare and file state, city, and local tax returns and related documentation. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Assist with payroll processing and payroll tax reporting. Monitor fixed assets and depreciation schedules. Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations. Support budgeting and forecasting activities. Assist with annual audits and provide documentation as requested. Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls. Work closely with management to provide financial analysis and operational support. Qualifications Required Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered. Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience in a business environment. Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger management. Experience preparing and filing state and local tax documents. Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Experience with construction, manufacturing, industrial services, or related industries. Experience with payroll administration and payroll tax compliance. Knowledge of West Virginia state and local tax requirements. Experience with QuickBooks (Online & Desktop), Sage, or similar accounting software. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer. Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. Ability to perform typical office-related tasks.
