Executive Assistant and House Manager

Part-time to start with a clear and fast path to full-time for the right person. This is not a typical assistant role. Valley Isle Enterprises is one of Maui's most active licensed general contractors and real estate development companies, with 11 active projects spanning luxury multifamily development, commercial construction, and renovation work across Hawaii and British Columbia. The CEO is a 45-year Red Seal construction veteran actively developing luxury project in Kihei

Process the inbox twice daily and handle routine correspondence on his behalf. Track open items across all active construction and development projects including permits, vendor quotes, contractor schedules, and lender documents, and chase them without being asked. Coordinate with lawyers, lenders, permit offices, suppliers, and subcontractors. Post job ads and screen initial applicants using criteria defined once. Help build and document operating systems and SOPs so every process is repeatable. Submit a clear end-of-day summary of hours worked and tasks completed

Coordinate vehicle maintenance, household logistics, and property errands when the principals are traveling. Show investment properties to prospective renters and represent Valley Isle professionally when the CEO is off-island or on the boat in British Columbia. Arrange garage sales, yard work, and any personal logistics that would otherwise drain the CEO's time and focus. You will have access to a VA if needed. What We Need Real construction experience is non-negotiable. You understand permit timelines, can read a construction schedule, and can hold an intelligent conversation with a GC or architect. You are organized in a way most people in construction are not. You finish tasks without being reminded, flag problems before they become emergencies, adapt fast when priorities shift, and stay calm when things are moving fast in ten directions at once. Based on Maui or fully committed to relocating. Valid ID and reliable transportation required. Bonus Structure $200 monthly bonus when task completion rate hits 85% or higher. $100 to $150 per major project milestone delivered on time. Base rate review to $35 to $40 per hour at 12 months for consistent performers. Real Estate Commission Opportunity Licensed real estate agents are strongly encouraged to apply. Any real estate commission generated from a transaction that Valley Isle is engaged in, where a licensed agent in this role is the eligible representative, flows directly to you. This is not a token gesture. Valley Isle is actively buying, selling, and developing properties and the right licensed agent in this role will build meaningful personal income on top of their base compensation as the portfolio scales. If you are a licensed agent who wants to work inside a real development company and earn real commissions on real deals, this is the role. A genuine interest in real estate investment and capital raising is also a strong asset. Valley Isle is actively syndicating a major luxury development project in Kihei and the right person will grow into investor relations responsibilities over time.
