Required Summary The MIL Corporation is looking for a Budget Analysis, Associate to support a Federal Government client in Rosslyn, VA area. This position currently requires an on-site schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements. Responsibilities Research prior year submissions, contracts, mission critical expenditures, etc. and conduct variance analysis comparing current financial data

Initiate data calls and facilitate meetings with respective Program Offices to confirm findings and establish new fiscal year requirements

Develop metrics to present for leadership for review and begin drafting narratives and/or justifications

Review submission guidance and attend office hours to ensure proper

Coordinate spending review meetings to prepare financial/spending plans within each program office

Assist in maintaining execution plans by reviewing, approving, and allocating funding for planned activities

Run monthly GBI reports to reconcile planned vs expended

Provide recommendations for realignment strategies, and justifications as needed

Issue funding authorizations via SMART cable for medical expenses incurred by

DOS USDH

posted overseas and maintain obligation trackers

Continuously work with software developers to improve financial planning and execution system

Monitor and manage ULOs

Create spreadsheets, charts, graphs, and reports used to illustrate technical reports for decision-making

Review invoices, familiarize yourself with the IPP application

Perform reconciliation tasks Travel None Required Qualifications 7+ years of related work experience

Knowledge of and skill in the use of computer-based programs for use in tracking and analyzing financial information

Great attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Ability to be flexible in a demanding work environment

Ability to work independently and as a team member

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent customer service skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Knowledge of Federal, Departmental and Bureau budgetary principles, concepts, regulations, practices and procedures to perform various assignments Desired Qualifications State Department experience

Federal budget execution experience

Experience with Momentum Education BA/BS Clearance Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance and be able to upgrade to a Top Secret (TS) clearance as required.
