In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive accounting, finance, and strategic management expertise to guide companies through complex financial landscapes, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and drive sustainable growth. Your leadership will empower organizations to optimize financial performance, manage risks effectively, and achieve their long-term objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional eager to make a significant impact across diverse industries while enjoying the flexibility of a fractional engagement. This is primarily in a Medical Practice and Ambulatory Surgery Centre Growth. Duties Develop and oversee comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including fiscal management and business development initiatives. Lead financial planning, forecasting analysis, KPI's Dash Boards, and develop robust financial projection models to support strategic decision-making. Manage corporate accounting functions ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and other relevant standards. Supervise financial statement interpretation and analysis, profit & loss management, and regulatory reporting to ensure accuracy and transparency. Oversee treasury management activities including cash flow forecasting, risk analysis, expense control, and cost management strategies. Implement and maintain internal controls such as SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance and COSO frameworks to mitigate risks and enhance operational integrity. Provide expert guidance on mergers & acquisitions, fundraising efforts for business development, and strategic negotiations to support growth initiatives. Lead the finance team in managing accounting systems, payroll management, supply chain costs, and cost control measures. Conduct risk assessments related to industry regulations, governmental ( CMS) accounting standards, and financial concepts to safeguard organizational assets. Interpret complex financial reports for senior leadership, facilitating informed decision-making on profit & loss statements and financial health indicators. Requirements Proven experience in senior Health finance roles such as CTO, Finance Director in medical practices or CFO within diverse industries; experience with nonprofit accounting is a plus. Extensive knowledge of financial analysis, financial statement analysis, financial software applications, and technical accounting standards including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), IFRS, IAS, GAAP. Strong background in risk management, regulatory compliance, fiscal management, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Demonstrated success in managing finance teams and leading organizational change initiatives related to finance operations or business development. Expertise in corporate finance activities such as fundraising for business growth or expansion projects; experience with mergers & acquisitions is highly desirable. Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to interpret complex financial data into actionable insights for executive leadership. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations governing governmental or non-profit sectors; understanding of supply chain costs and revenue cycle management is advantageous. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to develop detailed financial models and conduct comprehensive market analysis for strategic planning purposes.
