Job Description

Professional services firm is hiring for an experienced Construction CFO specializing in GAAP revenue recognition, WIP management, reconciliations, job costing and financial statement preparation to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position based in Bradenton, FL. The right candidate for this position will possess experience in all types of construction. Learn Job Duties:
Prepares internal and external job cost reports by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from project managers. Maintains and balances various accounting systems by inputting data; scheduling required projects; verifying data. Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information. Prepare KPI's, analytics, financial and job analysis. Conduct meetings, deliver financial results to key stakeholders in a clear and comprehendable manor. Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. Provides accounting support for management by reviewing financial information; converting data to general ledger system; obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. Updates GAAP and job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Experience Bachelors degree in Accounting Previous job costing experience required CPA, CGMA or CCIFP certification preferred
