full-time Our non-profit client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Controller to join its executive leadership team. This individual will be responsible for leading the non-profit organization's financial strategy, driving operational efficiencies, and providing executive-level guidance that supports long-term growth and profitability. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced finance executive who enjoys both high-level strategic planning and hands-on financial leadership. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with organizational goals. Lead all accounting, finance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions. Provide strategic recommendations to the executive leadership team based on financial analysis and performance. Manage cash flow, banking relationships, treasury functions, and capital planning. Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, tax filings, and internal controls. Oversee the annual budgeting process and long-range financial planning. Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements to maximize profitability. Partner with department leaders to improve operational efficiency and support business growth initiatives. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team. Evaluate and improve financial systems, reporting processes, and internal controls. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA and/or MBA preferred. 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, including executive-level responsibility. Proven experience developing financial strategy and supporting organizational growth. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. Experience leading finance teams and collaborating with executive leadership. Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Preferred Experience Experience within a multi-entity organization is highly preferred. Background leading financial transformations, process improvements, or system implementations. Strong business acumen with the ability to influence strategic decision-making. Why Apply?
