The City of North Miami Beach, Florida, (pop. 43,104) is seeking a collaborative, strategic, and forward-thinking executive to serve as its next Chief Financial Officer (CFO) . Reporting directly to the City Manager, the CFO serves as a key member of the executive leadership team and plays a central role in shaping the City's financial direction, operational performance, and long-term sustainability. Located in northeastern Miami-Dade County, North Miami Beach (NMB) is widely recognized as the "Crossroads of South Florida" as it is adjacent to the Golden Glades Interchange where I-95, Florida's Turnpike, and the Palmetto Expressway meet. The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the City's financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, treasury, procurement, payroll, pension administration, and financial reporting. FY26 adopted budget for all funds was $253.6M. The Finance Department has an adopted $2.7M budget with 18 Full-Time positions. The City maintains AA- bond rating from Fitch Ratings and enjoys a healthy fund balance. It has received the GFOA Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. Salary Range:
