Job Description

The Emerald Coast Regional Council (ECRC) is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and oversee the organization's finance and accounting functions. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO will manage the finance team, support executive decision-making, strengthen financial systems, and help ensure the long-term financial health of ECRC and related entities. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, energetic, and forward-thinking leader who brings strong financial stewardship, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach to advancing organizational priorities. This role is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished financial professional who combines hands-on leadership with strategic thinking and enjoys advising organizational leaders, mentoring staff, and supporting ECRC's mission throughout Northwest Florida.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field; supplemented by ten (10) or more years' accounting experience, including at least three (3) years of supervisory or management experience. An equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience may be considered. Must pass a credit check, pre-employment drug screen, and background check.
