Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and shape the fiscal future of our organization. This pivotal role demands a dynamic leader with a comprehensive understanding of financial management, corporate strategy, and industry regulations. As CFO, you will drive financial planning, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide insightful analysis to support sustainable growth. Your leadership will empower teams, optimize financial performance, and uphold the integrity of our financial reporting. Duties Develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Lead the preparation and interpretation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and IAS (International Accounting Standards). Manage risk assessment processes, including SOX compliance (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), risk analysis, and risk management frameworks to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory adherence. Oversee treasury functions such as cash flow management, banking relationships, investment strategies, and liquidity planning to support operational needs. Drive revenue management initiatives, including pricing strategies, revenue cycle management, and profit & loss analysis to maximize profitability. Lead mergers & acquisitions activities by conducting due diligence, valuation analysis, negotiation support, and integration planning to expand organizational capabilities. Supervise corporate accounting teams responsible for financial reporting, regulatory reporting, governmental accounting, and compliance with industry-specific standards. Develop and implement financial projection models for strategic planning and decision-making; interpret complex financial data to inform executive leadership. Oversee internal controls such as COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations) frameworks and ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition Standard) to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial processes. Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives including business development, fundraising efforts for growth projects, cost control measures, and supply chain analysis. Requirements Extensive experience in finance leadership roles such as finance directorship or CFO positions within diverse industries; proven success in strategic management and corporate finance. Deep understanding of accounting standards including
GAAP, IFRS, IAS
; experience with technical accounting issues like tax accounting, cost accounting, payroll management, and government regulations. Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, modeling techniques, forecasting analysis, and developing financial report writing that supports executive decision-making. Strong knowledge of industry-specific regulations related to financial compliance; familiarity with SOX compliance requirements is essential. Skilled in managing finance teams effectively through supervision, mentorship, and leadership development; adept at fostering collaborative environments. Proficiency with advanced financial software systems; ability to interpret complex financial statements accurately using industry-standard tools. Excellent negotiation skills combined with strategic thinking for mergers & acquisitions or business development initiatives. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to perform risk analysis and market analysis that influence organizational strategy. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; advanced certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly desirable. $56.22 - $59.16 per hour
