About the Role Andersen Manufacturing is a family-owned company looking for a detail-oriented Controller / Director of Finance to join our team. This role owns the month-end closing process and plays a key part in cost accounting and financial reporting for the company. Responsibilities Oversee and manage the accounting/finance team, including hiring, training, and performance management Independently manage and complete the month-end close process Prepare and analyze cost accounting reports Compile and deliver accurate financial reports to leadership and ownership Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Support internal and external audits as needed Partner with other department leaders to support company-wide financial decision-making Requirements 7-10 years of relevant accounting experience Prior experience in a middle management role, leading or supervising a team Proven ability to complete month-end close independently Strong background in cost accounting Experience with financial reporting and analysis Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) Proficiency with accounting software (NetSuite) Strong Excel skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong leadership and team-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Sound judgment and problem-solving ability Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with company leadership Nice to Have CPA or progress toward CPA Experience in manufacturing or a similar production-based industry Benefits Health insurance 401(k) match Paid time off Other perks How to Apply Send resumes to Steven@AndersonInc.com
