Position Summary:
The CFO advises the CEO, COO, and the Board of Directors with respect to financial reporting, financial stability and liquidity and financial growth. The CFO directs and supervises the work of the business unit Controllers, the treasury function and Information Systems. The CFO will safeguard and make the most efficient use of the company's consolidated assets, ensure that appropriate financial and administrative resources are available across all business units to achieve the company's consolidated short and long-term objectives and to assist in the day-to-day management and administration of the company. Other duties include maintenance of relationships with the Board of Directors, financial institutions, legal counsel, risk managers and external auditors. The CFO contributes to overall organizational planning and implementation of corporate goal attainment. In addition, the CFO serves as an advisor to senior management relative to a myriad of business issues relating to the activities of the corporation. Further, the CFO assists the CEO in financial, tax and legal matters related to the company and family. Position Duties - Process and distribute customer invoices and organize electronic vendor invoices. Support accounts receivable and accounts payable activities, including payment processing, purchase order review, and customer credits. Record journal entries for payroll, travel and expense reporting, and other financial transactions. Perform monthly close activities and prepare financial statements, expense reports, and other financial analyses. Maintain accurate financial records and complete required filings, entity reports, and audit documentation. Support external audits, tax reporting, and compliance with corporate accounting policies. Assist with the annual long-range planning and strategic planning processes. Prepare financial analyses and management reports to support business decisions. Support cash flow planning and help ensure adequate capital resources are available to meet organizational objectives. Assist in maintaining effective internal controls and corporate accounting systems. Coordinate corporate insurance activities to help protect company assets. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes. Promote continuous improvement, support the development of team members, and perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.
Requirements:
A Master's degree in a business related field and a Bachelor's degree in a financial related field is required. A minimum of 10 years of direct accounting/finance experience is required. International experience is required along with a high level of understanding in currency transfers. Knowledge and implementation of Lean Accounting principles is necessary. Travel will be required.
