Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

4-day workweek (Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM

Shape financial strategy, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in government-funded programs
Mentorship & Training:
Work alongside the retiring CFO for a seamless transition
Autonomy & Hands-On Work:
Get involved in journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, banking, and board presentations—this is not just a strategic oversight role Key Responsibilities Lead financial oversight, including month-end close, year-end reporting, and government compliance Provide leadership for a small but critical accounting team (AR/AP & Financial Analyst) Manage banking, fund allocation, and reconciliations to ensure financial stability Deliver high-level financial insights and reports to the board and executive leadership Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, payroll reviews, and AP accuracy What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred but not required) Government/Fund Accounting
