Job Description

Robert Half is conducting a search for a Chief Financial Officer on behalf of a well-established, growth-oriented organization headquartered in Central Kentucky. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced finance executive who enjoys partnering with ownership and executive leadership to drive business performance, profitability, and long-term growth.

The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive team, providing financial leadership, operational insight, and strategic guidance across the organization. This role offers significant visibility and the opportunity to influence company direction while leading all aspects of finance and accounting.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead all finance and accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, and internal controlsPartner with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic business initiativesProvide actionable financial analysis and performance metrics to support decision-makingOversee annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processesManage cash flow, banking relationships, debt compliance, and capital planning activitiesEnsure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standardsEvaluate business performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiencyLead, develop, and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting teamSupport growth initiatives, process improvements, and technology enhancementsServe as a trusted advisor to the executive team on financial and operational mattersPreferred BackgroundExperience supporting a multi-site, consumer products, distribution, manufacturing, retail, or high-growth organizationStrong understanding of operational finance and performance managementExperience leading organizations through periods of growth, transformation, or process improvement
