With operations in China, the U.S., Mexico, Thailand, and Europe , DAYE serves customers in more than 60 countries worldwide . Position Overview DAYE Group is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy, planning, control, and performance management of its U.S. operations. Based in Charlotte, NC , the CFO will serve as a key member of the senior leadership team and a strategic business partner to executive management. This position will ensure financial discipline, strengthen internal controls, optimize financial performance, and provide reliable financial insights to support strategic decision-making. Due to the position's frequent interaction with DAYE Group headquarters in China, professional fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required . Key Responsibilities Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management. Oversee financial statements, management reporting, and financial analysis. Manage cash flow, working capital, liquidity, and financial risk. Monitor business performance through KPIs, variance analysis, cost control, and profitability reporting. Provide financial insights and recommendations to executive management. Ensure compliance with applicable U.S. accounting, tax, regulatory, and corporate requirements . Maintain and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and governance standards. Coordinate financial reporting between U.S. operations and DAYE Group headquarters in China. Partner with Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, HR, and other departments to improve financial and operational performance. Lead manufacturing finance activities, including product costing, inventory control, margin analysis, CAPEX, and cost optimization . Coordinate audits, tax matters, banking relationships, and external financial advisors. Improve financial systems, reporting tools, automation, and data analytics. Lead and develop the Finance and Accounting team. Support business expansion, investments, and other strategic initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration , or a related field. Fluent/professional proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English is required. MBA and/or professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA are preferred. Significant financial leadership experience as a CFO, Finance Director, VP of Finance, Controller, or equivalent senior position . Strong experience in manufacturing, industrial, automotive, consumer products, or multinational environments . Strong expertise in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and management reporting . Solid knowledge of
U.S. GAAP
, financial statements, accounting principles, and internal controls; IFRS experience is highly desirable. Experience with manufacturing finance, including standard costing, inventory, working capital, CAPEX, and profitability analysis . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills. Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to work effectively across U.S. and Chinese business cultures . High level of integrity, accountability, and results orientation. Preferred Profile We are looking for a hands-on and strategic financial leader capable of balancing financial control with business growth.
