Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, risk analysis, and compliance. This role requires a proactive leader with extensive experience in corporate finance, strategic planning, and financial reporting to ensure fiscal health and support organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, industry knowledge of financial regulations, and a passion for fostering innovation within financial practices. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to maximize profitability and growth. Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and other relevant standards. Lead financial planning, forecasting analysis, and development of financial projection models to inform strategic decision-making. Manage risk assessment processes including SOX compliance (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), risk analysis, and risk management initiatives to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance. Supervise treasury management activities such as cash flow optimization, banking relationships, and investment strategies. Oversee revenue management, cost control, expense management, and profit & loss analysis to enhance operational efficiency. Guide the finance team in preparing accurate financial reports, interpreting complex financial statements, and communicating insights to senior leadership. Lead mergers & acquisitions activities by conducting due diligence, valuation analysis, negotiations, and integration planning. Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations), and other relevant frameworks. Support business development efforts through fundraising initiatives, strategic partnerships, and market analysis to identify growth opportunities. Experience Proven track record in senior finance leadership roles such as Finance Director or CFO within a large organization or non-profit sector with extensive accounting experience. Deep expertise in corporate finance concepts including budgeting, cost management, revenue cycle management, and financial modeling. Strong background in managing accounting systems and financial software tools; proficiency with advanced financial analysis techniques is essential. Demonstrated success in managing teams of finance professionals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Experience with regulatory reporting standards such as
GAAP, IFRS, IAS
; familiarity with governmental accounting practices is a plus. Extensive knowledge of industry-specific financial regulations including SOX compliance and ASC 606 standards for revenue recognition. Skilled in negotiation, strategic planning, business analysis, and developing innovative financial solutions that support organizational growth. Ability to interpret complex financial statements accurately while providing clear insights for executive decision-making. Prior involvement in fundraising efforts for business development or organizational expansion is highly desirable. $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
