Job Description

Job DescriptionJob Description Position Summary The Chief Financial Officer serves as a key member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for the overall financial management of the health center, including budgeting, revenue cycle oversight, financial reporting, grants management, and compliance with federal and state regulations. This role is essential to advancing our mission and ensuring the financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic financial leadership aligned with FQHC requirements, UDS reporting, and federal compliance standards. Oversee all accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions. Work collaboratively with Billing Director to lead revenue cycle operations. Manage annual audits, Medicare/Medicaid cost reports and grant financial compliance. Support capital planning, facility modernization, and long-range financial strategy. ​​
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master's preferred). Minimum 3-5 years of senior level accounting and finance experience, preferably in a FQHC or primary healthcare setting. Working knowledge and experience with Sage 300 and ADP. Experience working within the Epic EHR environment, including financial and revenue cycle modules. Strong understanding of FQHC reimbursement, Medicaid/Mediare, grants management, (e.g., 330 grant compliance) 340B program, Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200), UDS reporting and
HRSA OSV
financial requirements. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage complex budgets, and support organizational growth. Previous experience in executive management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
CPA, CHFP
certification (preferred). Experience with capital projects and federal funding initiatives (preferred).
