Rob DeBenedictis Management Corp. Rob DeBenedictis Management Corp. is a rapidly growing property management firm specializing in affordable housing. Since 2023, we have expanded from 180 units under management to over 600—and we are continuing to scale quickly. We are a small, hands-on team that values accountability, efficiency, and results. This is a highly visible role where your work directly impacts operations, financial performance, and ownership reporting. We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow into a CFO-level role.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all accounts payable, invoices, and vendor payments in coordination with the COO Perform daily bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and cash flow monitoring Maintain accurate and organized financial records Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Work directly with ownership groups and their CFOs; prepare and deliver monthly financial reports Oversee mortgage payments and complete monthly and quarterly financial reporting Partner with the COO on capital improvement projects, including securing funding through HCR and reserve accounts Maintain organized financial records, including scanning and tracking invoices and debit card transactions Coordinate with external auditing firms for annual audits Manage online banking, tenant escrow accounts, and security deposit accounts Execute required monthly transfers into reserve accounts in compliance with HCR guidelines Learn and adapt on the fly and pitch in wherever needed
What We're Looking For:
Prior experience in bookkeeping, AR/AP (real estate experience preferred) Experience with Yardi Breeze and QuickBooks preferred Knowledge of lender and mortgage processes is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and critical thinking ability Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment
