Reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee a team of 20+ professionals, lead a high-priority ERP go-live, and establish our foundational Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance framework.

Oversee the ongoing go-live and optimization of NetSuite, ensuring seamless integration across all GL and operational reporting functions.SOX Compliance & Internal Controls:
Design, build, and deploy a robust first-generation SOX internal control framework to safeguard assets and ensure audit readiness.Team Leadership:
Manage, mentor, and direct a direct/indirect accounting team of 23-24 people across GL, close management, and core financial operations.Close Cycle & Operations:
Streamline monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes for speed, accuracy, and reporting discipline.Technical GAAP & Governance:
Manage complex technical accounting positions, collaborate with external auditors, and ensure tight alignment with executive leadership.qualifications:
Qualifications & Experience Proven CAO /Senior Leadership:
Extensive track record serving as a CAO, specifically within mid-stage or evolving organizations undergoing rapid operational scaling.Hands-on ERP Implementation:
Direct experience driving enterprise ERP go-lives (NetSuite experience heavily preferred).SOX Framework Setup:
Strong expertise designing, implementing, and managing initial SOX compliance and internal control structures.Large Team Management:
Demonstrated ability to manage and align teams of 20+ finance and accounting professionals.Executive Presence:
Ability to partner directly with the CFO, executive leadership, and external audit teams.Location:
Must be able to work on-site 3-4 days per week in White Plains, NY. Energy or industrial sector experience is a plus, but adaptability to high-growth corporate stages is priority #1 skills: SOX, $250-500 millionEqual Opportunity Employer:
