Relocation or Hybrid Considered Base Salary:
$300,000-$350,000 NOW CFO is conducting a confidential search for a Chief Financial Officer on behalf of a rapidly growing heavy civil construction company serving utility-scale power, energy, and infrastructure projects. The organization generates more than $130 million in annual revenue, employs 200+ people, and is preparing for continued growth. The CFO will partner closely with the CEO, COO, and existing finance leadership team to ensure the business has the financial capacity, strategy, and infrastructure needed to scale. This role will have a particular focus on capital strategy, financing, working capital, bonding and surety relationships, financial risk, and long-term planning. What You'll Do Lead capital strategy, financing, liquidity, and working-capital planning Strengthen relationships with banks, lenders, surety partners, and other financial partners Support bonding capacity as the company pursues larger and more complex projects Partner with leadership on growth opportunities, investments, and financial risk Provide executive oversight of construction finance, including WIP, job costing, project cash flow, and forecasting Coach and support an established Controller and Director of FP&A Help strengthen financial systems, reporting, controls, audit coordination, and long-range planning What We're Looking For Senior financial leadership experience in construction or another project-based, capital-intensive business Experience helping a company scale through significant growth Strong experience with financing, lender relationships, working capital, and cash flow Experience with bonding and surety relationships Strong understanding of construction accounting, WIP, job costing, and project financials Proven ability to work effectively with CEOs, COOs, owners, and operational leaders A collaborative leadership style with a track record of developing strong finance teams Nice to Have CPA or advanced financial credentials, heavy civil or infrastructure experience, tax strategy exposure, ComputerEase experience, and ERP implementation experience are all valuable but not required for the right candidate. Leadership Style The organization is looking for someone confident, practical, and collaborative. The right CFO will take the time to understand the business, build trust, mentor the existing team, and make thoughtful improvements without coming in with a need to rebuild everything. Location The role is based in Prineville, Oregon . Relocation is welcomed, but the company is also open to a hybrid arrangement for the right candidate, with regular travel to Prineville and travel to Gilbert, Arizona as business needs require. Base compensation is $300,000-$350,000 , depending on experience and overall fit, with a competitive benefits package. #IND2
