Job Description

Wolfe is a Pittsburgh-based FinTech company building the next generation of financial products, and we are actively embedding AI across our product, our internal processes, and how our teams work day-to-day. As Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis, you will lead the annual business planning cycle, financial forecasting, and performance and unit-economics analytics that power decisions across PerfectGift.com, Gift Card Granny, and GiftYa. You will build and operate the AI-native FP&A systems and reporting infrastructure that give leadership fast, trustworthy data, and you will partner directly with Division and Business Unit leaders to sharpen the economics behind every pricing, staffing, and capital decision. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role for someone who wants to shape how a fast-scaling, founder-led company plans, measures, and allocates capital. This is a 5-day onsite role in Pittsburgh, PA. Responsibilities
  • Lead development of the annual business plan, five-year strategic plan, and capital allocation plan for the Company and each business unit, delivering the approved plan by November 15 each year.
  • Build and maintain monthly and quarterly management reporting, Board materials, and business unit performance reviews, producing enterprise, division, and department reporting by the fifth business day each month.
  • Operate daily cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning, delivering accurate projections for CEO and CFO approval.
  • Run financial modeling, regression analysis, and post-mortem reviews on pricing, promotions, M&A opportunities, and capital spending to support decisions made directly by the CEO and CFO.
  • Lead FP&A's workstream on the AI-native financial system initiative, including building FP&A-designed agents, near-real-time P&Ls, and variance analysis.
  • Hold standing monthly business reviews with each Division and Business Unit leader on financial health and decision quality, and review their major pricing, staffing, and capital decisions against unit-economic principles before they're finalized. Commitment Statement For more clarity on the role, below are the success metrics and measurements for this role in the first 90 to 120 days:
  • Deliver a completed, accurate financial hierarchy of business and department planning that ties to the current annual business plan.
  • Daily cash flow projections provided to the CEO and CFO, and produce enterprise/division/department monthly reporting by the fifth business day of at least one full reporting cycle.
  • Complete ongoing unit-economics analysis
  • Establish standing monthly business reviews with each Division and Business Unit leader and complete the first round with all of them. Qualifications
  • 10+ years in senior FP&A or finance leadership roles, ideally in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
  • Strong command of enterprise-level P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flow management, with experience in eCommerce, fintech, or technology-driven businesses preferred.
  • Proven experience leading FP&A workstreams within AI-native financial system implementations, including advanced analytics and data-mining for unit-economic analysis in a high-volume, transaction-heavy environment.
  • Strong work ethic, with comfort operating amid the pace, visibility, and demands of a hands-on VP role inside a fast-scaling, founder-led company.
  • Track record building and leading an FP&A team, with strong executive presentation and communication skills, including developing and delivering executive presentations.
