Chief Financial Officer - Utilities Services Cogent Talent Solutions Schwenksville, PA Job Details Full-time $150,000 - $180,000 a year 17 hours ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Position Summary The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for leading all financial operations of the organization and serving as a strategic business partner to executive leadership. The CFO oversees accounting, treasury, tax, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, risk management, HR, and strategic planning Key Responsibilities Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with company objectives. Partner with executive leadership on growth initiatives, capital allocation, and business planning. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Prepare and present financial statements and performance analyses. Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and tax obligations. Manage banking, lending, financing, and cash flow activities. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets. Establish and maintain strong internal controls and risk management practices. Lead audits and serve as primary contact for external auditors. Develop and mentor finance and accounting staff. Evaluate financial systems and ERP platforms to improve efficiency. Support mergers, acquisitions, due diligence, and special projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required. MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred. 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and internal controls.
