$70-$98/hr W2 (no pto/benefits) Seeking a temporary CFO for a local non-profit though the new year. Would be considered for permanent/full time if the person is interested but not guaranteed. What You'll Be Doing Serve as a trusted business partner to the CEO and leadership team on financial and operational decisions. Lead all accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash management, and audit activities. Oversee key administrative functions including HR, technology, facilities, and risk management. Help drive organizational strategy, improve processes, and ensure resources are aligned with long-term goals. Partner with executive leadership, board members, and external stakeholders to communicate financial performance and organizational needs. Lead, mentor, and develop staff while fostering a collaborative and accountable culture. What We're Looking For 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance, accounting, and business operations. Experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, Finance Director, or similar senior financial leader. Strong understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, and strategic planning. Experience leading teams and partnering across departments such as HR, operations, or technology. Nonprofit experience and CPA and/or MBA credentials are highly preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to both financial and non-financial audiences.
