Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our organization's financial planning, management, and reporting functions. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to promote growth and stability. Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to ensure fiscal health. Lead the preparation and interpretation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and IAS (International Accounting Standards). Manage regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies such as SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) and ASC 606 standards. Direct treasury functions including cash flow management, risk analysis, investment strategies, and banking relationships. Oversee corporate accounting operations, including revenue management, expense control, payroll management, and cost accounting. Lead mergers & acquisitions initiatives by conducting market analysis, financial due diligence, valuation assessments, and integration planning. Foster a high-performing finance team through effective leadership, supervision, mentorship, and talent development. Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning initiatives to support business development efforts and fundraising activities for organizational growth. Implement robust financial modeling techniques to support forecasting analysis and long-term financial projection development. Skills Extensive experience in finance directorship roles with a strong background in corporate finance and strategic management. Proven expertise in financial analysis, report writing, interpretation of financial statements, and financial concepts such as profit & loss management. Deep understanding of industry-specific regulations including SOX compliance and industry knowledge of financial regulations like IFRS and IAS. Proficiency with accounting systems and financial software to streamline reporting processes and ensure data accuracy. Strong negotiation skills combined with expertise in supply chain finance, risk management, and business analysis. Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing finance teams while fostering collaboration across departments. Skilled in developing financial projection models that inform strategic decision-making processes. Knowledgeable in tax accounting practices relevant to non-profit or corporate entities as applicable. Ability to analyze market trends for informed decision-making on mergers & acquisitions or new business opportunities. Excellent communication skills for preparing comprehensive financial reports and presenting insights to executive stakeholders.
