Sport Horse Nutrition is seeking an experienced, commercially minded Chief Financial Officer to join our equine business in Wellington, Florida. The CFO will work directly with the Managing Partner and will be responsible for leading the company's financial strategy, reporting, planning, and overall financial performance. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can combine strong financial expertise with commercial and strategic thinking. Key Responsibilities Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Oversee accounting, financial reporting, cash flow, and working capital management. Develop and monitor financial KPIs, margins, profitability, and operating costs. Provide the Managing Partner with clear financial analysis and recommendations for business decisions. Manage banking, tax, audit, insurance, and external financial relationships. Establish strong financial controls, systems, and processes as the company grows. Evaluate investments, expansion opportunities, partnerships, and other strategic initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and financial performance. Build and manage the finance function as the business expands. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. CPA, MBA, or equivalent qualification preferred. 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience. Strong experience in accounting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting. Excellent financial modeling and Excel skills. Strong commercial judgment and analytical ability. Experience in a growing or entrepreneurial business preferred. Equine, agriculture, animal nutrition, manufacturing, distribution, or consumer products experience is advantageous.
