Responsible for managing and ongoing analysis of all financial functions of the organization Working understanding of risk management associated with grain marketing operations. Develop strong working relationships with the executive team, board of directors, banks, auditors, finance related entities, regulators and other outside consultants In concert with tax consultants develop tax planning strategist that are beneficial for the operation and its shareholders. Manage the enterprise risk management which includes: insurance, credit and collections policies and other financial matters with a focus on loss prevention. Develop and provide financial plans and input to the executive team and the board of directors to allow them to make strategic decision-making opportunities. Oversee and manage the finance and purchasing functions of the company. Job RequirementsBACKGROUND PROFILE
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting - Required. A Master's degree or CPA would be preferred.
- 5+ Years of Accounting Experience with Grain Accounting Operations.
- Experience in providing financial reporting and analysis to management, finance agencies, shareholders etc.
- Up to date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer applications.
- Experience in managing all aspects of finance in a large operation to include accounting, budgeting, forecasting, control, working with lenders and investment firms and reporting to include corporate treasurer functions.
- Good people management skills and business managerial skills.
