Position Overview The CFO will serve as a trusted strategic partner to the President, providing executive-level financial oversight of the company's financial planning, budgeting, reporting, risk management and investment strategies. This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on financial leader who can balance high-level strategic planning with day-to-day operational oversight. Key Responsibilities Serve as a strategic advisor to the President and executive leadership team on financial planning, business performance, growth opportunities, and long-term strategy. Develop and execute the company's overall financial strategy in alignment with organizational goals. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support major business decisions, investments, acquisitions, expansions, and other strategic initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and financial performance. Lead the annual budgeting process and develop short and long-term financial plans. Oversee financial forecasting, including revenue, expenses, cash flow, and profitability. Ensure the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes. Ensure appropriate internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures are in place. Partner with external auditors, tax advisors, lenders, investors, and other financial partners as needed. Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting and finance team. Evaluate and improve financial systems, processes, reporting tools, and technology. Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, HR, and other departments to improve financial visibility and accountability. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required. CPA credential preferred. 7+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including significant leadership experience. Prior experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, Controller, or senior financial leader preferred. Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, accounting, and financial reporting. Manufacturing industry experience highly preferred.
