El Paso, TX Job Details Full-time 2 days ago Qualifications Hospital administration Master's degree Finance directorship Healthcare financial management General management Hospital experience Healthcare accounting Full Job Description The CFO will provide the necessary strategic and visionary leadership to administer, direct, and coordinate all Hospital financial activities including but not limited to, complex financial healthcare systems, programs and services of the hospital in support of its mission, vision, values and business strategies. Responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of long-term financial strategies and operations; assures coordination and accountability. Works with hospital CEO, Board Directors and administrative team of the hospital to develop and carry out financial and strategic initiatives.
Work Experience:
Seven years progressive senior management experience in financial operations in a hospital system or medical center, with complex hospital experience required.
Education and Training:
Masters Degree in Business Administration or related field required.
Skills:
Well developed leadership skills. Long-term strategic management skills. Ability to effectively educate and champion the financial needs of the organization within the community. Extensive technical knowledge in all areas of healthcare financial operations, including revenue cycle operations, cash flow, financial forecasting and analysis, patient financial services, information and health information management, etc. Knowledge of health care financial operations in a managed care environment. Ability to apply knowledge of regulatory compliance. Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities. Welldeveloped interpersonal skills. Ability to develop and maintain teamwork and overall cohesiveness of all hospital staff. Proven ability to recruit, train and motivate personnel in order to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth. Ability to navigate within nonprofit service organizations. Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
