Chief Financial OfficerJOB DUTIES
Leads all aspects of the companys financial function, including accounting, financial reporting, treasury (capital raising and cash management), financial planning and analysis, corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, internal and external audit, tax and risk management. Proactively partners with the CEO and the senior leadership team to increase shareholder value through the attainment of operational and financial goals. Oversees the investor relations function that establishes credible and effective relationships with the shareholder/stakeholder community, and proactively engages the investment community, including financial community, buy and sell-side analysts, banks and credit rating agencies. Proactively communicates the company's strategy and messaging to investors, including leading presentations during quarterly earnings calls. Oversees Risk and Underwriting function to ensure compliance and manage risk levels and exposures for the business. Actively participates in all corporate development activities, including working closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to monitor and appraise acquisition and exit opportunities.Travel:
Up to 50% domestic and international travel required.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting or related field and ten (10) years of experience as Chief Financial Officer of a publicly traded financial services or consumer lending company, including ten (10) years of experience with: 1. Consumer and corporate lending experience. 2. Leading capital structure initiatives, including securing new debt facilities, international public bond offerings, establishing securitization warehouse facilities to support portfolio growth and liquidity. 3. Strategic capital markets leadership including optimizing borrowing costs through cross-currency swaps, expanding senior credit facilities, and enhancing relationships with major financial institutions. 4. Debt covenant compliance, including quantifying credit statistics and influencing business transactions throughout the organization to ensure compliance. Monitoring covenant compliance and delivering quarterly compliance reporting packages to lenders as required by agreements. 5. Creating and implementing strategic vision for finance in supporting the business objectives and execute on that to ensure the business meets and surpasses its goals. 6. Uses data to guide business decisions to provide the greatest opportunity for success across the Companys different lines of business and the Company overall. 7. All aspects of the financial function, including controllership, treasury, accounting, SEC reporting, cost accounting, tax, corporate development, investor relations, information systems, IFRS/US GAAP and US Income and Excise Taxation. 8. Financial compliance and advisory experience liaising with Capital Markets, Investment Community, Buy and Sell-side Analysts, Bank Syndicate, Rating Agencies, and Regulatory Authorities.OTHER:
