The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, high efficiency and the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Enter and update claim data and notes accurately and timely. Maintain adjuster calendars by adding and tracking deadlines, appointments, hearings, depositions, meetings, ongoing payments and required responses Schedule appointments for claimants as directed by adjuster Facilitate obtaining medical records, IMEs, and treatment authorizations Organize medical records according to HIPAA compliance. Draft, format and distribute routine correspondence to claim related parties. Manage fax, email and mail distribution and document retention Respond to provider inquiries for medical records, EOB or billing status Provide phone coverage and route inquiries appropriately Review of medical bills and 3rd party invoices for inconsistent or missing information Assist with payment processing and reconciliation of charges Prepare reports, tracking and special projects as requested. Compile data for quality assurance audits Qualifications Associates degree or higher 2 years administrative or clerical experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Proven Business writing skills Experience in workers' compensation insurance Knowledge of medical terminology
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
