Receptionist /Insurance Clerk / Veterans Claims Specialist Dothan, AL 36301

Part-time Part-time Job Summary Location:

Dothan, AL Hours:

M, T, W, 7

30 am to 5:30 pm. Must have excellent communication skills. Job duties include answering phone and ensuring a friendly and positive impression; scheduling appointments, entering patient information into computer. Checking patients in and out, receiving and posting co-pays from patients. Follow up on any missed patient appointments. The ability to verify insurance benefits correctly and efficiently is essential. A strong understanding of VA benefits regulations, procedures. Dependability is essential. Must possess ability to multitask, have excellent computer skills. Merritt Chiropractic Center is dedicated to supporting the military community and their families. We are looking to a detail-oriented, empathetic receptionist, veteran claims clerk, to help our local heroes navigate the complex insurance and benefits system.
