Rapid Packout is looking for a Claims Specialist with strong communication skills and a results-driven mindset. This position is responsible for following up with insurance adjusters, collecting outstanding payments, and ensuring claims are processed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

Contact insurance companies to follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims Build relationships with adjusters and act as the main point of contact for billing inquiries Review scopes, estimates, and invoices to ensure accurate claim processing Track claim status and update internal systems regularly Resolve billing disputes and document all communications with carriers Work closely with our project managers and billing department to ensure claims are submitted correctly and on time Assist in preparing and sending supplemental documentation when requested

Qualifications:

Prior experience in insurance claims, billing, or restoration industry preferred Excellent phone etiquette and negotiation skills Strong understanding of insurance claim processes (Xactimate knowledge is a plus) Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously Comfortable working independently and meeting collection targets Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
