Monday-Friday | Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Claims Examiner to join our Finance Department. The Claims Examiner is responsible for reviewing, processing, and adjudicating healthcare claims while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution. The ideal candidate will have experience with managed care claims processing and be proficient in the EZ-CAP System . Key Responsibilities Review, examine, and process medical claims accurately and efficiently. Utilize the EZ-CAP System to review, adjudicate, and maintain claims. Verify claim information, eligibility, authorizations, and benefit coverage. Investigate and resolve claim discrepancies, denials, and payment issues. Ensure claims are processed in accordance with payer guidelines, contractual agreements, and regulatory requirements. Research and respond to provider and internal department inquiries. Maintain accurate documentation and claim records. Collaborate with providers, finance staff, and other departments to resolve claim issues. Meet departmental productivity, quality, and turnaround time standards. Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 3 years of Claims Examiner or healthcare claims processing experience. Required experience using the EZ-CAP System. Knowledge of medical claims adjudication and managed care processes. Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and medical terminology preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a hospital, health plan, IPA, or managed care organization. Knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, and commercial insurance claims. Experience with healthcare reimbursement and regulatory compliance.

Pay:

$26.50 - $29.50 per hour
