Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Workers Compensation Biller to support healthcare revenue cycle operations. This role is responsible for preparing, submitting, and following up on workers' compensation claims, ensuring accurate billing, timely reimbursement, and compliance with payer guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Review patient accounts and verify workers' compensation billing information. Prepare and submit clean claims to workers' compensation carriers and third-party administrators. Monitor claim status and follow up on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and payment issues. Post payments, adjustments, and account activity accurately into billing systems. Communicate with insurance carriers, case managers, employers, and internal departments regarding claim status. Maintain documentation and ensure billing records are complete and compliant. Assist with account aging reports and escalate complex collection issues as needed. Stay current on workers' compensation billing regulations, fee schedules, and payer requirements.
