Job Description
Community South Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented, organized professional who enjoys problem-solving and helping people. As our Collateral Claims Specialist , you'll play an important role in protecting the credit union's assets while providing exceptional service to our members. What You'll Do Process consumer vehicle titles, lien recordings, and title releases Monitor property taxes and collateral documentation for consumer and business loans Review insurance coverage and process force-placed insurance requirements Assist members with account questions, loan servicing, and payment solutions Contact members regarding overdrawn and delinquent accounts to identify resolution options Process credit bureau disputes (ACDV/AUD) and account corrections Handle Credit Life, Disability, and Mechanical Breakdown Protection (MBP) claims Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with credit union policies and regulations Prepare monthly reports and perform other operational support duties as assigned What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent At least one year of banking, credit union, lending, collections, loan servicing, or financial services experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism Why Community South Credit Union?
