Role Description The Claims Handler is a full-time, on-site role based in Hollywood Florida This role is responsible for managing insurance claims from initial intake through resolution, including reviewing documentation, assessing coverage, and maintaining accurate records. Day-to-day tasks include communicating with policyholders, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders to gather information, clarify policy terms, and provide updates on claim status. The Claims Handler will analyze claim details, identify any discrepancies, and support the preparation of estimates, reports, and supporting documentation. The role also involves monitoring timelines, and ensuring claims are handled efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Ability to effectively manage the end-to-end claims process, including Claims Handling and Claims Management skills. Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures, with experience in Insurance Claims and general Insurance principles. Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with clients, carriers, and internal teams. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple claims simultaneously. Proficiency with standard office software and claims management systems. Prior experience in claims, insurance, or a related field is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus. Ability to work on-site in Hollywood, Florida and maintain a professional, client-focused demeanor.
