Position Overview:

A Claims Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the Ten Four Truck Insurance Claims team in various capacities. Receives and assesses First Notice of Loss, researching policy and client information in Claims/Underwriting system, and issues acknowledgement letters and other claims.

Job Duties:

Receives and assesses First Notice of Loss via incoming phone calls and emails for claim setup. Creates claims in Claims Systems for various lines of business.

• Research policy and client information in Claims/Underwriting systems.
• Issues acknowledgement letters and other claims correspondence.
• Ensure accurate distribution of incoming claims correspondence.

Communicate with claim managers, adjusters, brokers, underwriters as needed for proper processing of claims. Work with our vendor partners to verify their bills and process for payment. Other duties as required to assist in the handling of claims.

Job Qualifications:

Experience:

1-2 years in commercial insurance industry preferred. Claims Support experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate. Proficient communication skills (oral and written) and proficient use of MS Office suite. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to produce high work volume with precise accuracy.
