If you have problem-solving and negotiation skills, you could be a fit for our claims team as a claims adjuster. We're looking to train motivated applicants to become claims representative professionals to support our customers while independently managing claims and ensuring a swift resolution. As a claims adjuster, you'll learn how to help customers get back on the road after an accident. This is not a field position which means you'll be building relationships with customers over the phone, in a fast-paced environment. You'll learn how to efficiently resolve a heavy caseload while managing the claims process from start to finish. You'll have the support of a collaborative team and ongoing coaching from leaders. We'll also provide in-depth training on property damage and insurance contracts so you can confidently and independently adjust claims. Duties & responsibilities Determine coverage Determine liability Obtain recorded statements of policyholders and other involved parties to the degree necessary to establish a liability determination. Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims Determine the most appropriate course for establishing extent of damages. Review damage appraisals for accuracy and payment Communicate claims procedures and process to involved parties verbally and in writing. Comply with all required reporting requirements, such as ISO, CMS, etc. Document activities in claim file notes in clear, complete & concise manner. Must-have qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred 3 years of relevant work experience.
