Sales Inspector

We're not looking for someone who can sell. We're looking for someone who can solve a problem, earn a customer's trust, and take pride in both. Freedom Wildlife Solutions & Pest Control is a veteran-owned wildlife and pest control company based in Clayton, NC. We've been building this company since 2018 on one standard: show up, do the work right, and earn every customer's trust. We serve Johnston, Wake, Harnett, Wilson, Wayne, Lee, Durham, and Nash counties — and we're growing. We're hiring Sales Inspectors now.

THE ROLE

This is a field sales position. You'll conduct in-home and on-site inspections for wildlife exclusion, crawlspace encapsulation, termite control, and other large-scope jobs that can't be sold over the phone. These customers have a real problem. Your job is to diagnose it, explain it clearly, and propose a solution they can trust. We provide 2-3 warm leads per day. You generate one more through your own prospecting and referrals — four total inspections daily.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Inspect attics, crawlspaces, roofs, and structural entry points to diagnose wildlife activity, moisture problems, termite conditions, and encapsulation needs Present findings and solutions in a way customers understand and trust — not a high-pressure pitch Close approved work with a 50%+ conversion rate on qualified inspections Build your own pipeline through prospecting, referrals, and community relationships Document every inspection accurately in our CRM and photo systems, same day Coordinate with operations to ensure every job you sell gets delivered correctly Complete 2-4 weeks of paid field training alongside our technicians before running solo

WHO THIS IS NOT FOR

If your approach is to say whatever closes the deal, this isn't the right fit. Customers trust us with their homes and we protect that — every time. If a slow day turns into a bad attitude, or you're more focused on your commission than the customer's actual need, there are other places where that works. This isn't one of them.

WHAT YOU'LL EARN

Compensation is draw plus commission, structured to reward performance. Solid performers earn $60,000-$80,000 annually. High performers earn $90,000-$110,000+.

REQUIREMENTS

Valid NC driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and on rooftops — this is a physical job Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb 32-foot ladders, and work in confined spaces Must pass background check and drug screening 1+ year of experience in home services, construction, or sales preferred NC Wildlife Control Agent License and NC Pest Control Registered Technician Card required — we support you in obtaining both
